IDEAS FOR CONTENT

There are many creative ways to use your station to minister to your listeners and to promote your ministry or your Church. The following are three (3) great idea essentials that you can regularly produce and update for Churches...

1) For Churches, Pastor and staff short features. These should be 60 second “thought” spots or sermon excerpts. Your people love you and want to hear more from you. These are also effective ways for listeners outside your Church to get acquainted with your ministry staff. These spots should contain a short point, then direct listeners to your full sermon archived on your website.

2) Bulletin board announcements. These are 30 or 60 second spots promoting the ministry events of the Church each week and/or activities happening on your web site. You can also produce spots promoting the various ministry programs of the church including Help ministries, small groups etc.

3) Event spots. These spots are an effective way to get the word out about upcoming concerts, conferences, seminars, special web site downloads, cruises, Holy Land trips, etc.

MORE IDEAS

- Personal story spots. These are testimonies about how God has impacted their lives, perhaps through a particular ministry of your Church.
- Get comments from your people about what they love about your Church, how a particular “help” ministry impacted them or what being a part of a small group means to them. Produce these comments into 30 & 60 second spots.
- Sermon Promos. You can produce teasers and promos about what your sermons are about each week.

Incorporating these kind of promos and ministry spots into your programming will encourage your people and listeners around the world in their faith, help them appreciate the ministry of your church even more and draw others to Christ and into your fellowship. They are well worth the effort.

Note: we can advise you on producing these spots and provide production services, if needed (see “Xtra Other Services"). These kind of spots are in addition to our basic service.
